TRIBAL FILMS
including FILMS FROM THE TRIBAL WORKSHOP
Since 2005, Billy Marshall Stoneking has facilitated the Tribal Workshop, first at AFTRS and subsequently at the International Film School, Sydney, the ACT Filmmakers Co-op and through Stoneking Seminars. Over the six years that the workshop has been conducted, more than 80 tribal films have been produced. Many of these films are little gems of dramatic film storytelling. The films that are produced by the workshop participants have a simple brief: make a short (up to five minutes) film in the format and genre of your choosing - including documentary - that effectively dramatises your tribal identity.
Participants in any of the Tribal Workshops are free to share their films with a larger audience here. For more information on Tribal Storytelling, see TRIBE on the main menu of WHERE'S THE DRAMA?
